When you need a scaffolding Gosport & Lee on Solent solution for your project, you will understandably want to know what companies like ours do to keep scaffolding costs down. Our company has highly competitive prices, offers free quotes and incorporates a 2 month hire period in its quotes as standard – and those are just for starters.
Beware of scaffolding contractors in Gosport who provide cheap services by cutting corners and using materials that are sub-standard. We maintain high standards of customer service; are proud to be health and safety assured; have CISRS trained and qualified scaffolders plus scaffold management teams; and are CITB accredited, and are registered with Chas. All of these quality assurances come at no extra charge to you because we believe that a professional service should be standard practice.
Unlike other scaffolders in Gosport, we don’t raise prices as the company expands. We know that we owe our success to the hundreds of clients who have recommended and reviewed us and we want to maintain our reputation for good value.
One of our main aims is to provide high quality solutions, with expert local erectors, at affordable rates. And we’ve been true to our word. You can rely on us to provide:
- An efficient service, no matter how large or small the job. All domestic, commercial and industrial scaffolds are provided, including access, independent, conservatory, chimney and roof scaffolds.
- Very high building structures. We provide tower scaffold with boarded working platforms using TG20 compliant tubes and fittings, which are obtained from reliable suppliers and are used alongside secure handrails and edge protection.
- We can provide temporary roofs with Monaflex sheeting for house extensions, rental property renovations and new builds.
- We also provide a full design service that include all drawings, risk assessments and calculations and adhere to building regulations and permissions. These are undertaken only by supervisors with the appropriate qualifications and experience.
- Safeguard the protection of trees and woodland, debris netting, scafftags and alarms and many other additional working at height equipment.
Local experience is vital, which is why we insist that all our scaffolding Gosport trainees have on the job training as part of their development. Only by experiencing jobs first hand can they develop the skills to become an advanced scaffolder. We are involved in many different projects that expose our teams of erectors to a wide range of challenges and demand new solutions.
The large new house development is just one example where working at height expertise is needed, such as at a job on Forton Road where we were contracted to provide timber frame platforms for 12 new build flats. The structure was erected to full height and then adaptations were carried out for external treatments to be completed. Working on a construction site is dangerous and busy so our scaffolders make full use of their health and safety training to provide an efficient, professional and safe service.
The mark of a good company lies in the jobs they’ve completed. Here are just a few of the projects we’ve completed in Gosport:
We provided the access scaffolding for the demolition of a building on Avery Lane, with all lifts boarded and handrailed, followed by a progressive scaffold for the rising brickwork and block to roof level on the new build section.
At the rear of this public house on the High Street, we was asked to provide and erect a decorating platform with boarded lifts to suit the works and also provide debris netting to the exterior of the structure to contain any dust.
A project on Harbour Road needed a full design and calculations carried out to enable us to install a truss out scaffold over the water’s edge and erect four boarded lifts on top for re-decoration of the windows and balconies.
A residential client on Beech Grove required four lifts of access scaffold to build a new three storey extension at the rear of the property to provide a larger kitchen area and new bedroom upstairs. The scaffold was erected in three separate visits and dismantled in one operation.
A raking shore scaffold was installed to the side elevation of a Grange Road building to support the external wall while the foundations were dug out and re-poured to resolve a subsidence problem with the property.
Tree protection was supplied and installed to a project on Brewers Lane as part of the planning application. We erected 30 metres of tree protection to BS5837:2005 standards and used the in-ground system to support the scaffold frame and Heras fencing for the duration.
We was asked to provide edge protection handrails erected on the steel frame at roof level on the Longfield Avenue development to enable the roofing company to install a new king span cover and guttering. An access tower was built with an internal ladder provided to allow trades workers to move around easily.
Unusual Projects in Lee on Solent and Gosport
It’s not often that companies such as ours get to work in the media but Gosport and Lee on Solent became the ideal setting for a local production company, who hired our services to provide two camera platforms to be erected in a car park. We constructed two lifts of scaffold towers, with the top lifts boarded to include a ladder access so that the camera had a stand for filming. Of course, such requests are all part of the job and we have been involved in many other projects where we have had to provide different solutions, from the Worthing Birdman to the Rox on the Prom event in Bognor Regis.
