Our scaffolding design service was recently required at Christ’s Hospital in Horsham when a large design scaffold was needed for the gable end of the chapel building for remedial works. We developed all boarded lifts, handrailed and covered in monaflex sheeting to protect the building and the work while in progress. A scaffolding staircase and a goods hoist were also installed to lift all the project materials to the working areas.

Please take a look at how we have helped local customers and clients in Horsham’s surrounding areas and across West Sussex with our advanced and innovative scaffolding solutions:
A new build detached property in Horsham had a two storey extension built to make additional room for a games room and extra bathroom. We was asked to provide three levels of scaffolding platforms, with the structure erected for the external trades to roof level.
48 new build houses in Horsham were built on this project thanks to a scaffold design that provided the platforms wanted to build the brickwork and blockwork walls to roof level. We also had to provide loading bays with steel gates. Internal birdcages were installed to the top floors of each unit with edge protection while the new roof covering was installed.
A conservatory scaffolding structure was erected to reach parts over the glass roof area at the rear of this property in Horsham for re-decoration to the upstairs windows, soffits and fascias. Two scaffolding support towers were built either side of the conservatory with, 8 metre long alloy beams used to span the area to create the working platform.
On this Horsham scaffolding project we erected provided access to the front of a terraced property for re-pointing works. This involved the provision of a chimney scaffolding platform erected on the roof ridge line to enable the contractors to demolish the stack and make good the roofing felt, battern and tiles.
A Horsham based roofing company contracted us to provide the platforms needed to replace the roof covering on four properties. Two lifts were constructed to the girth of the buildings, with the top scaffolding lift positioned at gutter level for the works.
We were requested to provide edge protection handrails and a tower including a rope and wheel to be erected to the roof level of a small industrial unit in Horsham to allow the roofing contractor to carry out repairs. A triple handrail and toe boards were included to provide a safe working area to this scaffolding Horsham project.
We was asked to provide a timber frame scaffold which was erected at lift heights to suit the build needed for the construction of a block of 12 flats in Horsham. All scaffolding lifts were fully boarded on this project and an external ladder tower was provided to give access to each level. The scaffolding was fully adapted to 2.4 metre lift heights for the external cladding work to be completed on this Horsham project.
Southwater Junior School, Cedar Drive
The main contractor on this Horsham and Sussex project requested that we provide the scaffolding platforms needed to complete the external building works, with an internal birdcage to the new hall area for building the blockwork walls and to decorating the ceiling.
Horsham still has its own operational brickworks, made from the Wealden clay that makes up the foundations of the town and, where possible, many of Horsham’s new developments try to take advantage of this brickwork. Some of Horsham’s brick built buildings, particularly apartment blocks such as the one we worked on at Worthing Road, use timber frames as a lightweight construction material that can be used with the brickwork. The material needs special timber frame scaffolds that are erected before the frame is put into place. As a Horsham scaffolding provider we can act as suppliers of timber frame scaffolds that are ideal for this type of work on any of Horsham’s new builds.
