A scaffolding Petworth solution made with galvanised steel tubes and fittings

We are one of the fastest growing scaffolding Petworth and Sussex service companies.  Our success is down to our ability to offer a diverse range of domestic, commercial and construction scaffolding services at cheap prices that never compromise our professionalism, safety or reliability.  Our commitment to our customers enables you to manage your project so that it is completed on time and within budget.

Scaffolders Local to Petworth and West Sussex

Residential customers, trade firms and industrial companies choose us because we supply local scaffolding Petworth erectors whose skills, expertise and qualifications are first rate.  All of our scaffolders are trained to CITB and CSCS standards and are expected to develop an excellent knowledge of health and safety and working at height regulations.  It’s also important each scaffolder receives on the job training as we believe that more is learned on site than in a training room.

We conduct a site inspection if required to determine which kind of working platforms are best for easy use by construction workers and which type of strucutre of scaffold or tower using boards and tubes will support them.  In addition, we offer a scaffold design service to draw up plans and risk assessments that meet current obligations and codes of practice.

If you need an accredited staging erectors or a scaffolding company that is trustworthy, our Scaffolders in Petworth fits that bill entirely.  We are listed with the Google reviews website, which allows customers to leave independent reviews on the quality of our services.  We believe that our years of experience and specialist knowledge speak for themselves but our ratings on Google reviews give potential customers assurances on our workmanship, punctuality and reliability.

We are suppliers of a full range of cost effective access scaffolds that are designed to facilitate the construction or repair of chimneys, roofs and conservatories.  One job our Director was involved in related to the provision of an access scaffolding solution for the demolition and rebuild of Petworth Police Station.  The existing building had three lifts of access platforms erected, with all lifts boarded, to ensure that the refurbishment could take place.

We also specialise in temporary roofs, tree protection and scaffold towers and our staging can be fitted with innovative edge protection and handrails.  An example of this is the job that our qualified scaffolders undertook for a domestic client on Downview Road who needed a scaffold platform for a single storey extension.  Edge protection handrails were fitted to one side of the new build so as not to disturb the neighbouring household.

For every scaffolding Petworth project, from rental property extensions to new housing developments, we can help you to save costs.  However, we maintain standards by offering quality features such as TG20 compliant tube fittings, scafftags, safety netting, solid platform boards and haki stairs.  You don’t need to use a company with a less than stellar reputation while we’re around.

Here are a few more examples of our Petworth work:

New Street – A small office building situated on the high street needed new windows and repainting.  Access structures erected to the West Sussex highways specification was provided for the project and included high visibility foam to all the uprights and debris netting.

Wyndham Road – A local authority run project to renew the roof coverings on a block of social flats needed scaffolding to gain full access.  A level platform was installed to the girth of the building at gutter level and two rope and wheels provided for hoisting up materials.

Holland Wood – A large detached property was demolished following a fire and we provided the platform access for the new build to take place.  The new house was constructed out of blockwork and we erected a heavy duty scaffold to the girth of the building up to roof level.

Littlecote – For a national house builder, we supplied and erected safe access to build 28 new houses and flats.  Scaffolding platforms were provided progressively to the girth of each unit for the external trades to complete the work required and were left in place while the roofs were installed.  Adaptions took place on the plots during the tile hanging and rendering phases.

Beechwood Lane, Duncton – A gable end scaffold was needed for renewing the soffits and fascias to this property, which was not accessible by ladder.  Two lifts of fully boarded access were provided, with a hop up erected to reach the gable peak.

Petworth House, Church Street – We provided a two lift high scaffold to the stable block for roofing works, with a loading bay erected for stacking materials.  The scaffold had to be fully netted as the owners wanted part of the house to remain open to the general public while the project was undertaken.

The Kennels – A support structure was designed and erected using boards, tubes and couplers to a collapsed chimney stack while the demolition and rebuilding took place.  The lower part of the stack had holes knocked though the brickwork to enable us to install steel girders to take the load while the new foundations were dug out and re-poured.  The brickwork was then rebuilt to support the load again and the scaffolding support was dismantled.

We recently erected some scaffolding at Petworth House, which is a National Trust property set within 700 acres of land and is an historic local attraction.  The stables on which we built a two lift scaffold are grade II listed and so the work had to be done in a sympathetic and non-invasive manner.  This particular scaffold had a loading bay fitted by us, which helped to stack materials needed for the roofing works.  We frequently install loading bays because they have a high load bearing capacity; the swing gate allows for easy loading that can also be secured to prevent materials falling through.

We love meeting the challenges of these types of advanced projects in Petworth and throughout West Sussex.  The above was just one example of how we can provide effective solutions even for the most fragile and historic of buildings.

We also supply our excellent scaffolding Petworth and Sussex hire services on sites in Fittleworth, Pulborough, Coldwaltham, Kirdford, Easebourne, Heyshott, East Lavington, Fernhurst, Linchmere and Liphook.  If you’re interested in learning about how we can add value on your project, please phone us or use our online enquiry form.
