We were contracted to work on a refurbishment project for a roof covering renewal of 145 residential flats in the Eastleigh area. We were also involved with the supply and erection of scaffolds to the girth of the four storey buildings in Eastleigh and installed a system temporary roof cover to protect the occupied flats while the work was in progress.
New build surgery, Hampshire
We were asked to supply and erect scaffolds to the steel frame of this Southampton building for roofing works and then to make adaptations for the external treatments, including brick work, cladding and rendering. This Southampton and Hampshire scaffolding structure was erected with all lifts boarded and fitted with handrails.
New build hospital block
We won a contract at Southampton General Hospital to supply all the platforms and edge protection needed for the new build brickwork and block work, including platforms for completion of the roofing work to Southampton hospital.
Calshott Sports Centre
A birdcage was erected to the complete internal area of an aircraft hangar in Southampton for the renewal of the roof covering and insulation to convert the disused building into a sports centre. This scaffolding Southampton structure was erected to the full height of the internal roof area for edge protection and fully boarded. We also provided external scaffolds up to roof level for the work to be completed.
Dock Gate 10
We supplied scaffolding to support the construction of a new build office and research building to dock gate 10 in Southampton. Progressive scaffolding was erected for the rising brickwork and full scaffolding was built to the steel frame building for roofing works. Internal structures and lift shaft scaffolds were also required in line with the lift shaft engineer’s specifications on this scaffolding Southampton project.
New build block of residential flats
Progressive access scaffolding Southampton, including loading bays for stacking materials, was produced to construct a new block of flats five storeys high. We built internal birdcages to the internal staircases and edge protection handrails to the landing areas. Internal scaffolding was then supplied for the construction of party walls up to roof level of this Southampton project.
Edge protection fixed off the steel frame – using girder clamps – was erected to provide a safe working area while roofing work was completed for this new build in Hampshire. We installed safety netting to the underside of the internal roof area. Loading bays were assembled for the removal of the old roof covering and stacking materials while the top lift was boarded and a staircase provided to improve access for Southampton’s trades workers.
